📍 Venue: Hin Bus Depot, Penang

🕐 Time: 11:00 AM — 5:00 PM

Grief is one of the most universal human experiences, yet it remains one of the most isolating. The Grief Art Expression exhibition creates a public space where loss can be acknowledged, witnessed, and transformed through visual art. This is not therapy in a clinical sense — it is communion.

The Exhibition

The exhibition will feature works by community members who have experienced personal loss — the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, the grief of chronic illness, or the quiet mourning of unrealized dreams. Participants are invited to create and submit pieces in any visual medium: painting, photography, sculpture, collage, or mixed media. All submissions will be displayed without judgment or curation, because grief does not conform to aesthetic standards.

Live Creation Stations

In addition to the exhibition, the event will include live creation stations where attendees can sit down and create their own piece in real time. Facilitators will be present — not to instruct, but to hold space. Paper, paint, charcoal, and clay will be provided. No experience necessary. The only requirement is a willingness to feel.
